The HVCB sent 4 people from Kama'aina Kids and Piilani to personally deliver the leis to these schools.

Asked about the project, Piilani said that, "We put on a program showing a video of the kieki's in Hawaii making the leis and singing a song "Aloha". We also be taught the children there a song and to hula to the song. We left November 3 and returned to Hawaii on November 8th.
